Gizmodo picks up “lost” iPhone for $10,000?

April 20, 2010

Just in case your out of the loop:

An Apple developer left a prototype of the new iPhone on a bar stool in Redwood city. Yes, the most paranoid company in the world, a company that sports a secret police unit, a company that chains its products to the table, accidentally loses its most precious item in a bar.

Anyway! Someone (we don’t know who) finds this iPhone, takes it home, realizes it not your regular iPhone but in fact something altogether different. He/she then tries to return the iPhone to Apple, Apple laughs at him, so he ends up selling it to the guys at Gizmodo for $10,000.

Amazing??? Yes?

I can imagine that Gizmodo, who was denied an iPad for review by Apple can see this as a form of revenge.
